A multimedia experience

Besides the art made by the elusive Bansky, the museum is also home to rare photos, videos, and installations, all of which help visitors tap into the artist’s mind and the political and social lens through which he views the world. Marvel at how versatile his scope of work is, an aspect many visitors have observed.

Girl With Balloon

A series of stencil art of a girl reaching out to a balloon being carried away by the wind is among the key highlights of Banksy’s career. It’s also among his most well-known pieces. Banksy has used variants of this design several times, including in 2005 about the West Bank barrier, during the Syrian refugee crisis in 2014, and so on.

Love is in the Air (The Flower Thrower)

Banksy painted this mural on Jerusalem’s West Bank barrier wall in 2003. The picture has been reproduced numerous times over and represents a man throwing a bouquet of flowers rather than a Molotov cocktail. It’s a sharp commentary on the violence in the region at the time.

The $60 Pop-Up Sale in New York City

In 2013, Banksy offered $60 stencil drawings at a pop-up in New York City. Most people walked right past the pop-up, especially since Manhattan was infamous for people selling Banksy counterfeits. Considered to be a self-contained piece of performance art in itself, it is a commentary on fame, value, and site-specific meaning.
