Things to know before booking your Atlético de Madrid Stadium & Museum tickets

Booking window

• Tickets are available both online and on-site, but booking online secures your preferred slot and helps you avoid waiting at the ticket counters.
  
• Most visitors book within 48 hours of their visit, so if you’re in Madrid at the last minute, a same-day purchase can work on non-match days. However, if you plan on visiting on a weekend, booking your tickets at least 3-5 days prior is your best bet. 

Entry & access

• All visitors enter through the dedicated museum/tour reception inside the stadium complex. Your ticket is scanned upon entry, and you’ll have to go through a mandatory security screening (your skip-the-line tickets don’t let you bypass this step).
  
• During match weeks or busy periods, additional security and crowd control may extend waiting times, so plan to arrive a little early in case of bigger crowds.

• Your standard ticket combines access to key stadium highlights, including the players’ tunnel, pitch-side dugout, press room, and (subject to match schedules) the home team locker room. Your ticket also includes entry to the Territorio Atleti interactive museum.
  
• The Premium Tour includes an exclusive add-on: a sumptuous breakfast in Diego Simeone’s private box, with a stunning panoramic view of the pitch. The highlight is that this tour is scheduled before the stadium’s official opening hours, meaning you’ll have the entire space to yourself.

• During June and July, access to some parts of the stadium will be limited due to events. However, you can still access the museum.

• While the museum is filled with all kinds of exhibits, don’t miss out on the ‘Room of Fernando Torres’, an entire space dedicated to one of the club’s most legendary players. Most visitors describe this as an incredibly poetic end to the museum tour. 
  
• The stadium’s located on the outskirts of Madrid, so make sure to factor in enough time for the commute. The metro is the most convenient option, according to most visitors. Line 7 (orange line) drops you off at the Estadio Metropolitano station, which is right in front of the venue. 
  
• If you plan on visiting the stadium on your own on a match day, don’t worry too much about which seat to pick. Visibility is great all around.
